Chartwell Marine has announced its partnership with naval architects Bar Technologies, to support in the delivery of offshore wind crew transfer vessels (CTVs). Osbit has secured a contract with Seajacks to design and build a monopile upending bucket, to be used by the vessel operator in its offshore wind turbine installation projects. The system will initially support the development of the large-scale, bottom-fixed Akita and Noshiro Offshore Wind Farms in Akita Prefecture, part of Japan’s renewable energy expansion being developed by Akita Offshore Wind Corporation (AOW), with Kajima Corporation as the project’s EPCI contractor.- Category: Product News
Sweden's first wooden wind tower is now ready on Björkö outside Gothenburg. The tower is 30 meters high and was erected by the development company Modvion . The wood construction is as strong as steel and makes the wind turbine climate neutral from the start.- Category: Product News
Jan De Nul Group and Huisman have joined forces for the heavy lift equipment on board of Jan De Nul’s offshore installation vessels Les Alizés and Voltaire. Jan De Nul Group awarded the contract for the engineering, construction and delivery of two cranes to Huisman.
