KK Wind Solutions, part of A.P. Moller, has officially opened a new factory and office in Bengaluru, India. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Eske Bo Knudsen Rosenberg, Consul General of Denmark in Bengaluru, alongside partners, customers, and members of the KK Wind Solutions global leadership team. The new site covers a total area of 24,000m², including a 17,000m² facility with 14,000m² dedicated to manufacturing and logistics and 3,000m² to office space. The remaining 7,000m² is landscaped around the factory.
The facility will manufacture converters and control systems for the wind energy sector. It is fully licensed by the government and approved for export under the MOOWR (Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations) scheme. Production began in April 2025. The factory currently employs 250 people across manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, and safety roles. This number is expected to grow to 400 as operations expand. In addition, 150 employees will be based in a new city office supporting KK Wind Solutions’ global shared services functions.
