Nordex has received an order from Grupo Enhol to supply and install six N163/5.X turbines for the Caparroso repowering project in Navarra, Spain. The project will have a total installed capacity of 34.2 MW and includes a 20-year service agreement.
The wind farm lies near the village of Caparroso. Installation is planned to begin in July 2026, with commissioning expected by February 2027. Towers, blades, and nacelles will be manufactured in Spain, while hubs and drive train components will be produced in Germany.
The project is financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility under the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, part of the NextGenerationEU initiative.
