NjordIC has secured a contract to deliver unexploded ordnance (UXO) consultancy services for the Zeevonk Offshore Wind Farm, a joint venture between Vattenfall and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. The scope includes interpretation of geophysical data, supervision and support during UXO identification and clearance, onshore advisory services, and provision of ALARP certification to enable safe construction. All work will follow Dutch legislation.
Zeevonk is located about 62 km off the Dutch west coast in the IJmuiden Ver Beta zone. The project combines offshore wind, a floating offshore solar park, and a hydrogen electrolyser at the Port of Rotterdam. Construction is planned in two phases, with the first phase due in 2029 and final completion expected by 2032.
