Iberdrola has completed the acquisition of the Ararat Wind Farm from Partners Group and OPTrust after receiving the required approvals. The wind farm, located in Victoria, has a capacity of 242 MW and has been in operation since 2017.
It becomes Iberdrola’s largest wind farm in Australia and its first owned generation asset in Victoria. With this transaction, Iberdrola now has a presence in five states in Australia: New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
