Goldwind Americas has announced that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Viridis Eolia (Viridis), a Wyoming corporation, for the conditional supply of up to 1,870MW of Goldwind Permanent Magnet Direct Drive (PMDD) wind turbines.
The Viridis Eolia Master Plan, a planned 1,870MW multi-phase wind project located in Carbon County, Wyoming, will utilise Goldwind’s 2.5MW and 3.0MW PMDD wind turbines. The first standalone project of 32.5MW will be developed by Little Medicine Bow Wind S and is expected to be commercially operational in 2017. The Viridis Eolia Master Plan’s subsequent phased projects will be commencing operations in years 2018 through 2022.
