Invenergy has signed a 125MW wind power purchase agreement (PPA) with Kimberly-Clark. The agreement includes the sale of power from the Santa Rita Wind Energy Center located in Texas.
Santa Rita Wind Energy Center is located approximately 70 miles west of San Angelo, Texas. The 300MW facility will consist of 120 General Electric 2.5MW wind turbines. Commercial operation is expected to commence in the first quarter of next year.
