GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Greenvolt Power, part of Greenvolt Group, to supply, install and commission 42 of its 6.1 MW–158 metre onshore wind turbines for the Gurbanesti wind farm in Călărași county, Romania. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026.
This follows an earlier announcement that GE Vernova will supply 42 turbines for the Ialomiţa wind farm. Together, the two projects are expected to deliver approximately 500 MW of capacity.
