GE Vernova has installed its first turbines at Pattern Energy’s Sunzia Wind Project in New Mexico, USA. The units now in place are part of GE Vernova’s 3.6 MW platform with 154-metre rotors.
The full Sunzia project is expected to reach 3.5 GW of total generating capacity. GE Vernova will supply 2.4 GW of that capacity, with the remaining 1.1 GW provided by Vestas turbines.
