PNE Group has launched Wattmate, a digital platform designed to help wind and solar farm operators manage short- and long-term electricity marketing contracts. The platform aims to support economically optimised electricity sales by matching plant characteristics with current market conditions. Available options include traditional direct marketing as well as long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Operators can create a profile for their wind or solar farm using data from the market master data register. Once a load profile is uploaded, the platform enables a tendering process for the site. Wattmate uses the submitted data to request offers from energy marketers or industrial customers. These offers are presented in a structured format, allowing operators to compare and select the most suitable option. The Wattmate team provides individual support for contract selection, review and negotiation.
In addition to providing current market data such as prices for guarantees of origin, Wattmate publishes its own PPA price index and detailed forecasts of market values for wind and solar power. These forecasts cover both the near term and the coming years, helping operators assess market trends and determine an appropriate time to conclude a contract.
