Envision Energy, launches fully integrated drivetrain for offshore wind turbines

Envision has introduced its large-megawatt, fully integrated drivetrain, designed for offshore wind turbines with capacities ranging from 14 to 18 MW.

 

The drivetrain combines the low-speed system, gearbox, and generator into a single integrated unit. It has been validated through China’s largest bending-torsion coupled drivetrain test bench, undergoing extreme stress testing to ensure durability. The drivetrain has also received IECRE certification from TÜV Nord.
