Davi has completed factory acceptance testing for four heavy-duty plate rolling machines supplied to Titan Wind Energy. The testing was carried out at Davi’s facility in Cesena, Italy.
The equipment includes plate rolls from Davi’s MCB and MAV series and is intended to support Titan Wind Energy’s expansion in offshore wind foundation manufacturing. The machines are designed to process ultra-thick, high-strength steel plates used in offshore monopiles and wind turbine towers.
According to the test results, the equipment met the required performance and reliability criteria for high-volume, repeatable production. The machines are scheduled to be delivered and installed at Titan Wind Energy’s manufacturing facility in mid-2026.
The project is part of Titan Wind Energy’s preparations for manufacturing larger and more complex offshore wind foundations as turbine and foundation sizes continue to increase.
