MEASNET, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, has published the final report on the 20ac01 Anemometer Calibration Proficiency Test. The report presents the results of an intercomparison exercise involving 14 technical laboratories from countries including Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain and the USA.
More than 85% of participating laboratories demonstrated their competence through a rigorous, independent evaluation process. This is the fifth public report published by MEASNET on proficiency testing conducted under the framework of IECRE—the International Electrotechnical Commission system for certification in renewable energy. It is also the final report in the current series of proficiency tests. The document provides insight into the work of technical laboratories engaged in wind energy measurement and calibration. The 20ac01 proficiency test was coordinated by Søren Frølund Østbirk, engineer and test conductor at Svend Ole Hansen ApS. The report is available for free download from the MEASNET website.
