South Korea’s 2026 H1 offshore wind auction received bids from nine projects with a combined capacity of 3.6 GW. The bid deadline was 12 May 2026. The auction is expected to award 1.8 GW of capacity and is divided into three categories.
The bidding ceiling prices are KRW 171.229/kWh for fixed-bottom projects and KRW 175.100/kWh for floating offshore wind. Submitted projects include:
Fixed-bottom public-led – 560 MW (award target: 400 MW)
- Wando Jangbogo – 400 MW – Kolon Industries
- Geumodo – 160 MW – DL E&C
Fixed-bottom general – 1,598 MW (award target: 1 GW)
- Haesong 1 & 3 – 1,008 MW – Copenhagen Offshore Partners
- Hanbit – 340 MW – B.Grimm
- Guupdo – 250 MW – SK eternix and Daewoo Engineering & Construction
Floating – 1,467 MW (award target: 400 MW)
- East Blue Power – 375 MW – Ocean Winds, Mainstream Renewable Power and Kumyang
- Haewoori 2 & 3 – 1,092 MW – Copenhagen Offshore Partners and SK eternix
