Subsea technology company Beam has entered administration, resulting in the redundancy of its entire workforce. Around 200 jobs have been lost across its offices in Edinburgh, Westhill and Bristol, UK.
The news was confirmed by staff on social media by Beam’s head of talent acquisition and crewing, James Reynolds, and Helen Batt, vice president of marketing. Beam was established in September 2024 through the merger of Rovco and Vaarst, with a focus on developing subsea technology for offshore industries.
