Scottish Renewables has announced the appointment of a new Chair and Vice-Chair, who will each serve three-year terms. Susie Lind, a partner at CMS, will take over as Chair, replacing Adam Morrison of Ocean Winds, who has held the role since 2021 and will remain on the organisation’s Board of Directors.
Lind has worked in the energy sector for 15 years across the development, construction, operation and decommissioning of projects including onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage. She currently leads the energy and infrastructure team at CMS and previously held executive director roles at EDF, EDF Renewables and the BlueFloat Energy | Nadara partnership. Lind is serving her second term on the Board of Scottish Renewables.
Finley Becks-Phelps, Country Head of Development (UK) at Nadara, has been appointed Vice-Chair. At Nadara, he leads a team responsible for developing the company’s renewable energy portfolio, which includes more than 1 GW of operational capacity and a pipeline of nearly 1.5 GW of projects across the UK.
Scottish Renewables has also added Alasdair Campbell, Director at InfraRed Capital Partners, to its Board.
