Vestas has secured five new wind turbine orders with a combined capacity of 309 MW across Poland, Romania, Latvia, Eastern Europe and Japan. The projects include a mix of turbine variants and long-term service agreements, with deliveries scheduled between 2027 and 2029.
In Poland, Vestas will supply 21 MW for an undisclosed project using six V126-3.5 MW turbines under a 10-year service agreement. Delivery is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
In Romania, the company has secured a 38 MW order comprising six V162-6.4 MW turbines under a long-term service agreement. Delivery and commissioning are planned for 2027.
In Latvia, Vestas will deliver a 117 MW project featuring 18 V162-6.5 MW turbines under a 30-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
In Eastern Europe, Vestas has secured a 95 MW order using 21 V163-4.5 MW turbines under a long-term service agreement, with delivery and commissioning planned for 2027.
In Japan, the company will supply 38 MW for an undisclosed project using nine V136-4.2 MW turbines under a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2028, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2029.
