Vestas has reaffirmed its position as preferred supplier to Hanwha Ocean for the 390 MW Shinan Ui offshore wind project in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The original agreement was signed in 2023.
As the project has progressed, both companies have now agreed an updated version of the supply arrangement. Commercial operation is scheduled for 2029. Vestas will provide its V236-15.0 MW offshore turbine for the project.
