Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) and Unison have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. Under the agreement, the companies will work together on operation and maintenance planning, technology exchange and specialist workforce training to support offshore wind projects.

KOMIPO will contribute experience gained from developing and operating the 100 MW Jeju Hallim Offshore Wind Farm, completed in 2024, and the 390 MW Sinan Ui Offshore Wind Farm. Unison will provide expertise as a wind turbine manufacturer, focusing on maintenance and workforce training.

The companies also plan to explore cooperation on future projects, beginning with the 76.2 MW Gochang Offshore Wind Power Project.
