Skyborn Renewables has signed a contract with Dajin Heavy Industry for the supply of transition pieces for the 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore wind farm in Germany. The agreement follows a preferred supplier arrangement finalised in September for 63 transition pieces.

Monopiles for the project will be supplied by EEW Special Pipe Construction. Seaway7 has also secured a contract for the transport and installation of monopiles and transition pieces at Gennaker. The project, located about 15 kilometres north of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, is scheduled for commissioning in 2028 and will be the largest offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.
