Skyborn Renewables has entered into a preferred supplier agreement with Fred Olsen Windcarrier for transport and installation of wind turbine generators at the Gennaker offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. A charter party agreement is expected to be signed later in 2025.
Installation of 63 turbines at sea is planned to start in 2028 and will be carried out using Fred Olsen Windcarrier’s Brave Tern vessel. The self-elevating, self-propelled jack-up vessel is equipped with a 1,600 tonne crane.
