Next Geosolutions has signed an eight-year framework agreement with 50Hertz, part of the Elia Group, which operates the high-voltage power grid across Northern and Eastern Germany. Under the agreement, NextGeo will act as the primary provider of geotechnical seabed survey services to support the development of offshore substations in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
These substations are essential for integrating new offshore wind farms and strengthening the European power grid. Survey activities will be carried out by NextGeo’s offshore fleet, with key support from the geotechnical drilling vessel NG Driller.
