Mooreast has signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with CCCC Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company. The agreement sets out plans to collaborate on floating offshore renewable energy and related offshore and marine projects in China and internationally.
The partnership will combine CCCC M&E’s scale, resources and network in China with Mooreast’s technical expertise and international experience, particularly in floating renewable energy and offshore wind. The companies will also explore opportunities to develop an offshore wind supply chain and provide full Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation solutions.
Planned cooperation includes engineering, production, sub-assembly, transport and installation of mooring and rigging systems, turbines, floaters and related components for floating wind and other offshore projects. While China is expected to be the main market, both parties aim to pursue projects globally.
