GE Vernova has been selected by IVPC Group to supply 17 units of its 6.1 MW, 158-metre onshore wind turbines for the Fortore wind farm in Benevento, Italy. The project, with a total capacity of over 100 MW, was among the largest awarded in an auction held by Italy’s energy agency, Gestore dei Servizi Energetici, in December 2025.
As part of the agreement, GE Vernova will provide a customised operations and maintenance solution, with both parties collaborating on transactional maintenance activities. Turbine deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
