The Bilbao Port Authority and the Association of Commercial Ports in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, representing Bayonne, Bordeaux, Rochefort-Tonnay-Charente and La Rochelle, have signed a Cooperation Agreement to strengthen cross-border collaboration. The partnership will focus on offshore wind deployment along the Atlantic coast, as well as sustainable and innovative logistics solutions.
The agreement aims to improve competitiveness by creating an integrated logistics arc between south-western France and northern Spain, enhancing connectivity, sharing facilities and enabling real-time data exchanges. Joint initiatives will also cover sustainability, digitalisation and reducing the carbon footprint of port activities.
