The Device Manager is the new central interface for configuration, diagnosis and monitoring the control system and is the core piece of the Bachmann SolutionCenter.
Intuitive prompting supports the user when managing the control systems and terminals available in the network. Only those parameters that are necessary for the respective task are displayed and so facilitate work on complex projects. The detailed depiction of the physical setup and the ability of the Device Manager to offer different views of data, settings and programs, is user-friendly and supports the user's orientation irrespective of previous technical knowledge. The various monitors for port values, parameters or diagnosis representations provide valuable assistance during the initial start-up of operations or maintenance. Watch/view windows for SVI variables are part of the standard version as is the integrated FTP tool. There are task lists and consoles in place for detailed runtime analyses of all processes at operating system level. The use of established interfaces guarantees full compatibility and usability in existing control systems.
