Eni and Falck Renewables sign strategic agreement for joint development of new renewable projects in USA

Tilt Renewables sells 270MW Australian wind farm

Tilt Renewables has entered into an agreement to sell the 270MW Snowtown 2 wind farm to an entity wholly‐owned by funds managed by Palisade Investment Partners and First State Super, for an enterprise value of A$1,073 million. Snowtown 2 was developed by Tilt Renewables and has operated for 5 years since construction completion and full commissioning was achieved in 2014.

GE secures digital wind farm services contracts for Japanese wind farms

GE Renewable Energy has announced it has secured five-year Digital Wind Farm services contracts for two aging wind farms in central Japan. Originally commissioned in 2004, the 22MW Chosi wind farm consists of 15 units of GE’s 1.5s product and is owned by Kandenko.

210 metres onshore wind turbines erected at Finnish wind farm

Nordex FinlandThe first of four 210 metres high wind turbines was erected at a Finnish onshore wind farm. SgurrEnergy supported the project through the pre-construction phase and assisted in achieving financial close in July 2015. SgurrEnergy's support included a focus on the tendering processes for the supply of the wind turbines, the Balance of Plant (BoP), and maintenance services, including drafting of BoP employer’s requirements, tender evaluations and contract negotiations.

RWE launches future-oriented business with new subsidiary

The new RWE subsidiary for renewables, grids and retail has begun operating on April 1st. The company bears the temporary name RWE International SE and bundles the business areas of renewables, grids and retail in Germany and internationally.
