Vestas is set to reduce its global office-based workforce by 900 positions, with the process expected to conclude by the end of 2025. The reductions will come through a combination of natural attrition, redundancies, and the release of third-party consultants, with approximately 190 roles affected in Denmark.
A company spokesperson said the measures are aimed at focusing resources where they deliver the most value. “We regularly review our organisation to ensure it operates efficiently and remains aligned with our business priorities,” they added. The company is streamlining processes and simplifying operations to improve efficiency and enhance customer focus. The 900 roles account for roughly 2% of Vestas’ workforce, which has increased by around 3,500 employees over the past year.
