Seatrium has released its business update for the third quarter of 2025. In the offshore wind segment, Seatrium completed and handed over the Wind Turbine Installation Vessel Charybdis to Dominion Energy and the High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) Offshore Substation for Ørsted’s Greater Changhua 2b and 4 project.
Nine further offshore wind projects are under way, including three two-GW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Offshore Converter Platforms for TenneT. Delivery of the HVDC OCP for RWE’s Sofia project is scheduled for the end of the year.
Offshore wind continues to play an increasingly important role in Seatrium’s portfolio, with strong activity in both Europe and Asia. The company is working closely with Transmission System Operators and regional developers to expand its project pipeline.
Seatrium’s final two HVAC Offshore Substation projects for the USA are nearing completion and represent less than one per cent of its current order book. Despite challenging market conditions, the company reports steady progress and growing interest in series-build opportunities for HVDC and HVAC platforms.
Overall, the company reported a net order book of S$16.6 billion across 24 projects, with deliveries scheduled through to 2031. Two projects were completed during the quarter, and three more are expected to be delivered by year-end.
