Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) has announced the appointment of Fabrizio Gardini to lead their newly formed Transport and Installation function to expand offshore wind services.Fabrizio is a chartered mechanical engineer with 20 years’ experience in management and engineering, supporting construction, installation and commissioning activities for the offshore energy sector. He joins GDG from Saipem, where he progressed from Graduate Project Engineer to Head of Subsea Structures & Systems, before joining the offshore wind commercial department as Project and Proposal Manager.
