Vineyard Wind 1 has completed offshore construction, with the final blades installed. The project continues to deliver power to the New England grid.
The 806 MW wind farm is a joint venture between Avangrid and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. It is located 15 miles south of Martha’s Vineyard in federal waters. Once fully operational, the project is expected to supply electricity to more than 400,000 homes.
