Vestas has also received firm orders totalling 239 MW for eight projects in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, developed by BBWind with local partners. The projects will feature turbines from Vestas’ EnVentus platform, including the V172-7.2 MW and V162-6.2 MW models. Service agreements range up to 20 years.

Individual projects include:

  • Hoetmar-Freckenhorst (58 MW, 8 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • WMO Quantwick West und Ost (44 MW, 6 x V162-6.2 MW and 1 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Energiepark Beckum (22 MW, 3 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Borken Weseke Ost (36 MW, 5 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Velen Dorenfeld (29 MW, 4 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Sendenhorst Elmenhorst (22 MW, 3 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Oelde Wibberich (22 MW, 3 x V172-7.2 MW)
  • Dorsten Hilgenböcken (7 MW, 1 x V172-7.2 MW)

Deliveries are scheduled between late 2026 and early 2027, with commissioning continuing into 2027.
