DNV has been contracted by offshore wind developer Ventyr to provide design certification for the turbines and offshore substation at Sørlige Nordsjø II, Norway’s first bottom-fixed offshore wind farm.
Located in the southern North Sea near the maritime border with Denmark, the Sørlige Nordsjø II project covers an area of around 520 square kilometres. It lies approximately 200 kilometres off the south-west coast of Norway.
