TGS has signed a brokerage agreement with a global renewables developer covering offshore wind measurement data from a northern European country. Under the agreement, TGS will make the developer’s offshore wind measurement datasets available to third parties.
The data covers a two-year period and was collected using LiDAR and met-mast technologies. The datasets are intended to support early-stage yield assessments and turbine design by providing wind resource information to market participants. The data is available for licensing, with TGS providing delivery, documentation and technical support through its Wind Measurement Data Ecosystem.
