Pattern Energy Group LP, and Samsung bought a 180MW wind farm in southern Ontario from Acciona. The Armow project will use turbines manufactured by Siemens.
Construction is set to begin in 2013 and the wind farm, in Kincardine township about 235 kilometers northeast of Toronto, is expected to go into operation in 2014. Ontario Power Authority will buy its electricity.
