Nordex has received two orders for repowering projects on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn. For the Fehmarn-Mitte I and Fehmarn-Mitte II wind farms, the company will supply and install 24 N163/5.X turbines.
The combined capacity of the orders from Fehmarn-Mitte is 136.8 MW. The contracts also include a 20-year service agreement. Turbine installation is scheduled for summer 2027, with commissioning of both wind farms planned for autumn 2027.
