Nordex has received an order for its N175/6.X turbines for the 21 MW Marienmünster-Altenbergen wind project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The client is Westfälisch-Niedersächsische Energie. Nordex will supply and install three N175/6.X turbines, each with a nominal capacity of 7 MW, mounted on the company’s hybrid tower system with a hub height of 199 metres.
The hybrid towers combine a concrete lower section with a steel upper section. Construction of the foundations is scheduled to begin in September 2026, with commissioning of the wind farm planned for summer 2027.
