Innagreen has completed the acquisition of the consented Dunbeg South Wind Farm near Limavady in Northern Ireland, representing its first investment in the UK renewable energy market.
The project, developed by RES, will comprise nine wind turbines with a maximum tip height of 149.9 metres. Once operational, the wind farm is expected to deliver around 38.7 MW of electricity. The site also allows for a potential extension to the west, with up to four additional turbines subject to planning consent.
Under the agreement, RES will continue to provide development and construction management services. RES will also deliver technical services once the wind farm becomes operational.
