GE has signed a 10-year contract with Spanish wind developer Cobra Energia to provide services for 178 GE wind turbines installed at eight wind farms across Spain.
The agreement provides the flexibility for Cobra Energia to complete routine maintenance with GE contributing solutions for unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and parts. The GE service agreement covers Cobra Energia’s entire fleet of GE 1.5MW wind turbines coming off warranty between 2010 and 2012.
