Evolve Energy has partnered with Alaska Wind Farm to supply renewable electricity from the Alaska Wind Farm near Wareham in Dorset to BKUK restaurants across the United Kingdom. The Alaska Wind Farm consists of four refurbished 2 MW Vestas V80 turbines relocated from Belgium and installed at Masters Quarry.
The 8 MW wind farm generates about 17 gigawatt-hours of renewable electricity each year. Electricity generated by the Alaska Wind Farm is secured under a long-term Corporate Power Purchase Agreement with Evolve Energy, enabling BKUK to source certified renewable electricity for part of its operations.
