Enercon and RBI Raiffeisen Bauträger- und Immobilien have signed a contract for the supply and installation of 25 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 175 MW for a wind energy project in Lorup, Germany.
The project will comprise Enercon E-175 EP5 turbines installed across three sites. Mammoor will host nine turbines with a total capacity of 63 MW, Hassmoor will include 12 turbines totalling 84 MW, and Glümmel will comprise four turbines with a combined capacity of 28 MW. The project scope includes the installation of turbines with a hub height of 162 metres, as well as the construction of a substation and associated foundation works. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. The partners are also planning an expansion of the development with six additional E-175 EP5 turbines.
