On 26 February 2016, CT Offshore installed the last of 97 inter-array cables on DONG Energy’s Gode Wind 2+1 Offshore Wind Farm in the German part of the North Sea.
The newly purpose built subsea trencher ROV, the CTO 107-1100, buried all the cables successfully. The new trencher ROV has an operating depth of 100 metres but with an option of up to 1,500 metres. The Gode Wind 2+1 Offshore Wind Farm is Germany’s largest offshore wind farm to date with a capacity of 582MW.
