Royal IHC has introduced a new Modular Cable Lay Spread. The system allows for faster mobilisation and is compatible with multiple vessel types, supporting both power cable installation and repair campaigns. The spread is built around palletised modules that can be transported in standard ISO containers and pre-assembled on the quayside.
Its multiple fastening points enable flexible configuration to fit different deck layouts without requiring redesign or permanent vessel modifications. The system is designed for rapid deployment, with 48-hour mobilisation and commissioning, and offers plug-and-play operation to minimise downtime during offshore operations.
