VR Vision has partnered with Enel Green Power to create a custom virtual reality (VR) training programme for technicians working in wind, solar and substation operations. The project aims to improve technical training and safety outcomes by using immersive simulations for turbine maintenance, substation procedures and solar farm management.
The training modules, developed by VR Vision, offer interactive and realistic environments designed to replicate field conditions. Key elements of the VR training programme:
Realistic simulations: Digital replicas of turbines, substations and solar infrastructure allow hands-on training in a virtual setting.
Safety-focused: Complex tasks can be practised in controlled, risk-free scenarios.
Reduced onboarding time: VR shortens training duration and supports knowledge retention.
Standardised content: Training is consistent across Enel Green Power’s global operations.
Performance monitoring: The Vision Portal offers real-time tracking, skills analysis and learning management system integration.
