MEASNET, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, has opened registration for its next Power Performance Proficiency Test (PT), which will be conducted under IECRE rules during the first half of 2026.
Laboratories wishing to take part can apply via the Measnet website until 6 February 2026. The 26pp01 PT will be carried out in two rounds. Round 1 will serve as a preparation phase to identify differences among participants and is limited to type A participants: Renewable Energy Testing Laboratories (RETLs), applicant RETLs, and other laboratories approved by IECRE SG551.
Round 2 will begin in the second quarter of 2026 and will also include type B participants: Renewable Energy Customer Test Facilities (RECTFs), IECRE member organisations (including OEMs, end users, RECBs, and other testing laboratories), as well as other bodies approved by SG551. The registration period for this phase will be announced by Measnet at a later date.
Measnet has collaborated with IECRE since 2015 to provide and conduct PTs in line with the organisation’s standards. This upcoming PT will be the third organised within this area of competence.
