Schurter has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Biaodi, a China-based developer of high voltage circuit protection solutions for new energy applications and electric vehicles.
The acquisition expands Schurter’s high voltage product portfolio, adding:
Alternating current fuses for wind power, charging stations, energy storage systems, data centres, and other high current applications
Fuses for onboard electric vehicle applications
Pyrotechnic (pyro) fuses for the safe disconnection of electric vehicle systems
