Marquiss Wind Power has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Cirrus Technologies Inc. of Carson City, NV, USA.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cirrus Technologies holds seven patents on technologies related to wind energy. Turbines based on Cirrus Technologies' patents have been installed and tested at the Desert Research Institute and for a major utility. As part of the acquisition, Cirrus founder, John Roskey, will join Marquiss as Chief Technology Officer. Marquiss Wind Power manufactures roof-top wind turbines to help businesses generate affordable clean power and help the environment.
