Flender has announced an upgrade to its service centre in Cambridge, Canada, merging its Industry and Wind repair operations at the site. The expansion includes new tooling, improved workflows and increased production capacity.
The upgraded facility will enhance assembly capacity for the Canadian market. Located near Toronto, the Cambridge site will serve as the main hub for Flender’s wind and industrial service activities in Canada. The redesign adds floor space and crane capacity, along with new equipment such as overhead and free-standing cranes, a high-performance press, a power washing station and precision surface grinding machinery.
