Enercon has announced it will produce rotor blades for its E-175 EP5 E2 turbine in Türkiye. The company is establishing a new rotor blade production facility in Bergama, Izmir Province, which is expected to create 700 jobs.
The Bergama facility is designed for a production capacity of up to 150 rotor blade sets per year. Production will primarily serve the Turkish market. The new site is also intended to supply rotor blades for wind farms in Eastern and Southern Europe.
