SeaPlanner expand Down Under
SeaRoc Group Ltd. has announced that a new commercial office has been established in Sydney to deliver the company’s portfolio of software and technology solutions, SeaPlanner, to the market in Australasia and Asia. Australian born engineer Derek Powell, with over 18 years professional experience in the manufacturing, Formula 1 motorsport and construction industries, will head up the venture as SeaPlanner’s Australian Account Manager. The SeaPlanner system provides a complete management and tracking solution for all project data and information for onshore, near shore and offshore projects. This includes personnel, vessel & vehicle tracking, and solutions for the management of data, documents, PPE, fauna sightings and metocean feeds.
eCAPITAL invests in manufacturer of micro wind turbine systems
eCAPITAL has announced it is investing in Turbina Energy, a manufacturer of micro wind turbine systems. Turbina Energy AG produces a micro wind turbine system which is designed to operate in both strong and light wind conditions. The turbines achieves a start-up speed of 1.5m/s for electricity generation and guarantees operation in wind peaks of up to 200km/h. The system has a low noise emission values of 34dB(A) and safety for humans and animals provide installation possibilities with almost no restrictions. The installation on rooftops in residential and industrial areas can sometimes be carried out without prior formal permission, as no noise nor vibrations are generated.
